This project arises from the clients’ need to renovate the apartment, which dates back to the 1980s.

The project included updating the spaces in terms of materials and layout, in order to make the spaces more appealing and practical for today’s experiences.

Since the kitchen and living room are the spaces where families spend the most time, the proposal suggested eliminating the existing wall that divided the kitchen and living room, creating an open space.

The access door from the hallway to the kitchen no longer exists, access being made through the living room door. The public area of the house is separated from the private part.

In the bedrooms, wardrobes with sliding doors were installed, to provide the rooms with more storage space.

The sanitary installation had a good area, it just needed storage space where it was proposed to create niches, in one of them a built-in support unit was installed for towels and hygiene products, as well as a basket for dirty clothes, and in the another niche was inside the shower area for shower gel, shampoos, etc.

In the hallway there was a wardrobe, which was optimized to allow more storage space, with sliding doors, and which at the same time facilitates circulation.

The apartment underwent an intervention in terms of various installations, water and sewage pipes, electricity, as well as coatings and finishes. The window frames that were previously made of aluminum with no thermal break were replaced with PVC window frames and respective blinds, to make the house more energy efficient.

A new L-shaped kitchen was installed, with new equipment and a new organization of space by cooking, food preparation and washing areas.

This way customers have a larger storage area, the most modern, functional and aesthetically balanced and framed space.
